El trabajo analiza los aspectos más importantes
del conflicto mapuche en Chile, subrayando las posibilidades de los mismos mapuches de
contribuir a su resolución. Sobre todo, reforzando
su autonomía y organización propia, abandonando
la representación del Estado como fuente
y solución a la vez de todos sus males, lo que
conduce a una relación de dependencia con éste.
