Abstractdc.description.abstractThe U-Chile-1 four legged team is an effort of the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Chile in order to foster research in robotics at high level. U-Chile-1 was composed this year by a group of undergraduate and graduate students of electrical engineering and computer science of our engineering faculty. This document describes the relevant aspects of the software which was developed from scratch by our team. The system has shown to be a relatively successful approach. For example we tied the game against Team Sweden and we won against the Turquey – Bulgarian Teams during the RoboCup 2003 competitions. We also had a satisfactory participation during the RoboCup Challenges. We consider this as a good result considering the short period of preparation.en_US
