Relación entre la eficacia colectiva docente y el desempeño escolar, en los liceos de la corporación municipal de educación de Talagante

Abstract

La eficacia colectiva es un constructo útil para estudiar algunos fenómenos sociales o grupos sociales, y dentro de este contexto es posible apreciar que igualmente está inmerso dentro del ámbito educativo de la gestión escolar, fenómeno que hoy es ampliamente estudiado; ahora, la eficacia colectiva docente es la creencia en las capacidades del cuerpo docente en lograr los objetivos propuestos por el mismo cuerpo docente. Entonces, el presente proyecto quiere estudiar y por lo tanto tiene por objetivo general conocer la relación existente entre la eficacia colectiva docente y el desempeño escolar y por consiguiente saber cuánto incide esta en el desempeño escolar. El estudio se realizará en los Liceos pertenecientes a la Corporación Municipal de Educación de Talagante, por lo tanto, la muestra será de 197 profesores que se desempeñan en tres liceos, se realizará con un enfoque cuantitativo del tipo correlacional, no experimental y transversal y los datos se analizarán por medio de la técnica de análisis del coeficiente de correlación de Pearson Esta investigación quiere ser un aporte al conocimiento, en primer lugar, al validar un instrumento de investigación y también estudiar las comunidades docentes y cómo estas relaciones afectan al desempeño escolar

Abstract The collective efficacy is a useful construct to study social phenomena or social groups, and according to this context it is possible to appreciate that it is immersed within the educational field of the school management, a phenomenon which today is widely studied; Now, the collective teaching efficacy is to believe in teachers’ competence to achieve the objectives outlined by themselves. Therefore, the present research pursues to study and, consequently, defines as its general objective, the existing relation between the teaching collective efficacy and the school performance; aiming at investigating the degree of incidence of it on the school performance. The research will be carried out in Liceos (state secondary schools) belonging to the Corporación Municipal de Educación from Talagante, therefore the sample will consider 197 teachers who work in three Liceos; it will be a quantitative research of a correlational type, non-experimental and transversal. The data will be analyzed through the Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient method. This research tries to contribute firstly to knowledge by validating an instrument of investigation and, at the same time, investigate the teachers community and how they affect the school performance
