Abstractdc.description.abstractIn the recent past the Copiapo River Valley has undergone a remarkable transformation in its agricultural structure. Among the most noteworthy characteristics are the specialization in exportation of table grapes, the incorporation of modern soil and water handling technology and the expansion of the agricultural surface. The establishment of hydro resources, settlements, monoculutre risks and natural hazards are also considered.
