“Análisis de la Investigación chilena en Psicología Clínica”

Abstract

El presente estudio bibliométrico tiene por objetivo conocer la evolución que ha tenido la investigación en Psicología Clínica en Chile entre los años 2001 y 2015. Se analizó la base de datos PsycINFO, 3 revistas nacionales (Revista de Psicología, Psykhe y Terapia Psicológica) y las tesis de 7 programas de Postgrado que se imparten en el país y que fueron seleccionados según criterios de acreditación. Se clasificaron 965 artículos sobre Psicología Clínica y fueron analizados según los siguientes datos bibliométricos: autoría; colaboración internacional, institucional y de autores; financiamiento; sexo de los autores; metodología utilizada (método, enfoque y diseño) y contenido según temáticas de psicología clínica. Los resultados indican cambios progresivos en el estudio del área clínica, específicamente en los índices de productividad, colaboración internacional e institucional y financiamiento que han presentado un aumento de consideración entre los años 2001 y 2015. La investigación chilena de Psicología Clínica se caracteriza por ser principalmente de metodología empírica de enfoque cuantitativo y las temáticas más abordadas son sobre psicopatología y psicoterapia

Abstract The present bibliometric study has as objective to know the evolution that has had the research in Clinical Psychology in Chile between the years 2001 and 2015. The PsycINFO database, 3 national journals (Revista de Psicología, Psykhe and Terapia Psicológica) and and 7 graduate programs taught in the country that were selected according to criteria of accreditation. 965 articles on Clinical Psychology were classified and were analyzed according to the following bibliometric data: Authorship; international, institutional and author collaboration; financing; gender of authors, methodology used (method, approach and design) and contents according to clinical psychology topics. The results indicate progressive changes in the study of the clinical area, specifically in the indexes of productivity, international and institutional collaboration and financing that have increased in importance between 2001 and 2015. The Chilean research of Clinical Psychology is characterized by being mainly of empirical methodology of quantitative approach and the subjects most approached are about psychopathology and psychotherapy
