| Abstract | dc.description.abstract | La pandemia del Covid-19 supuso en el mundo entero repensar las formas de trabajo
convencionales en las distintas organizaciones, tanto en la esfera pública como privada,
lo cual condujo a establecer otras modalidades de trabajo, a fin de poder dar
cumplimiento a las distintas funciones encomendadas a los respectivos servicios. En ese
sentido, la modalidad del trabajo remoto en el sector público enmarcada en el concepto
del “teletrabajo”, instó a adoptar medidas que permitan regular e implementar dicha
modalidad en los distintos espacios de trabajo, estableciendo un marco normativo, que
dada su urgencia en el contexto de la crisis sanitaria producida por el virus SARS-COV-2,
dejó fuera ciertos elementos asociados a una nueva realidad para los y las
funcionarios/as, que desarrollarían sus labores desde el espacio familiar en donde se
deben conciliar una serie de factores que pudiesen incidir en las tareas diarias tanto
domésticas como laborales.
En ese sentido, el presente trabajo pretende realizar un estudio de caso en el Instituto de
Seguridad Laboral (ISL), que logre dar cuenta de los desafíos en torno al teletrabajo en
materia de género desde las seguridad y salud en el trabajo pudiendo establecer los
desafíos qué supone esta modalidad de trabajo y de qué manera la institución se hace
cargo de entregar a sus funcionarios/as las herramient
The Covid-19 pandemic meant throughout the world rethinking the conventional forms of work
in different organizations, both in the public and private spheres, which led to the establishment
of other forms of work, in order to be able to fulfill the different functions entrusted to the
respective services. In this sense, the modality of remote work in the public sector framed in
the concept of "teleworking", urged the adoption of measures that can regulate and implement
said modality in the different work spaces, propose a regulatory framework, which given its
urgency in the context of the health crisis produced by the SARS-COV-2 virus, left out certain
elements associated with a new reality for officials, who would carry out their work from the
family space where a series of factors must be reconciled that could affect daily tasks, both
domestic and work.

In this regard, the present work aims to conduct a case study at the Instituto de Seguridad
Laboral(ISL) that addresses the challenges related to telework in terms of gender, specifically
from the perspective of occupational health and safety. It seeks to identify the challenges posed
by this mode of work and to examine how the institution provides its employees with the
