Las dificultades que enfrenta la mujer dentro del ejercicio de la profesión jurídica: un análisis comparado con el personaje de Miranda Hobbes

Abstract

Las mujeres dentro del ámbito jurídico enfrentan diversas dificultades, demostrando de esta forma que el sistema del mundo de la profesión legal, sigue estando demarcado por sesgos, discriminaciones y barreras históricas que impiden el ascenso igualitario de las mujeres dentro de la profesión. A pesar de representar una mayoría dentro del sistema judicial de nuestro país, las mujeres constantemente deben demostrar su competencia y valor dentro del sistema para ser consideradas, si bien son diversos los avances en relación a la situación de las mujeres dentro de la profesión legal estas son insuficientes. Son distintas las problemáticas sin solución las que abarcan este complejo problema que obstaculizan la igualdad en la profesión. De esta forma, dentro del mundo televisivo cinematográfico, encontramos personajes que representan de manera fiel la situación que enfrentan a diario las mujeres abogadas, uno de ellos es Miranda Hobbes de Sex and the City, una mujer abogada dentro de sus treinta años que experimenta diversas aventuras con sus amigas, profesión y roles de género
