RECIP3T de residuo a insumo : elaboración de una metodología que permite a docentes escolares enseñar la economía circular reciclando botellas PET mediante el método DIY

Abstract

El proyecto RECIP3T nace como un aporte para la educación ambiental en colegios, a partir de 8° básico. Actualmente, esta materia suele enseñarse de forma teórica, por eso, este proyecto propone un sistema de productos que entrega las herramientas a los docentes para poder enseñar a los estudiantes (en talleres o electivos de robótica y/o impresión 3D) a fabricar su propio mecanismo reciclador de botellas PET. De esta manera, se busca que el estudiante integre los conceptos de economía circular, mediante la práctica Do It Yourself (DIY), transformando el aprendizaje en una experiencia concreta, tecnológica y con sentido sustentable.

The RECIP3T project was created to contribute to environmental education in schools, starting in 8th grade. Currently, this subject is often taught theoretically; therefore, this project proposes a system of products that provides teachers with the tools to teach students (in workshops or elective courses in robotics and/or 3D printing) how to build their own PET bottle recycling mechanism. In this way, the project aims to help students integrate the concepts of the circular economy through Do It Yourself (DIY) practices, transforming learning into a concrete, technological, and sustainable experience.
