Abstractdc.description.abstract© 2014 American Physical Society. We show that, after a transformation, the dynamics of linear perturbations (spin waves) around a singular Bloch point soliton is formally equivalent to a quantum system of an electron in a magnetic monopole field. The analytical solution to this problem is known and allows us to find the spectrum and the scattering of a wave in a Bloch point field.
