Abstractdc.description.abstractA simple device for an efficient waste water treatment is described. The procedure uses a massive microalga culture as a source of OH-, which increases the pH of the medium killing the bacterial population. In the device the alga culture remains separated from the waste water by a mesh of synthetic material or a ceramic permeable to OH-. © 1991, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
