Abstractdc.description.abstractThe catalytic performance of the novel framework {[Cu3Lu2(ODA)6(H2O)6]·10H2O}n was tested in the oxidation of alkenes and benzylic hydrocarbons, using tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) and molecular oxygen (O2) as oxidants. Excellent conversions were obtained with O2 under solvent-free conditions, in the absence of a co-catalyst, for cyclohexene (95%) and for cumene (91%).
