Abstract

El tema de memoria, se enmarca dentro del programa "implementación de un Sistema integrado de Gestión' que incluye a la normativa ISO 9001:2000 e ISO 14001:2004 para la Planta Lonquén de Veterquímica Ltda., ubicada en la comuna de Maipú, Región Metropolitana, La implementación de los Requisitos del Sistema de Gestión ambiental 4.2; 4.3 y 4.4 de la Norma Chilena Oficial ISO 14001 versión 2004, "Sistemas de Gestión Ambiental", esto es, Política Ambiental de la Empresa Veterquímica (4.2), etapa de Planificación (4.3) e implementación y Operación en la planta (4.4) tiene su alcance en la Planta Lonquén de Veterquímica Ltda., donde se realiza la Formulación, desarrollo, producción y comercialización de suplementos vitamínicos y minerales, otros aditivos de uso nutricional, sus combinaciones, y productos de higiene ambiental. El centro de acción o común denominador de las metas es mejorar las actividades llevadas a cabo en las distintas divisiones de La Planta, todas ellas a nivel industrial, estando entre ellas la organización de bodegas, manejo de sustancias químicas peligrosas, elaboración de planes de emergencia y, disposición y tratamiento de residuos sólidos y líquidos. Por este motivo es importante la implementación de un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental ISO 14001 versión 2004 para la Empresa VETERQUIMICA LTDA
