Estado actual sobre el conocimiento sobre el monito del monte (Dromiciops gliroides)

Abstract

El interés y preocupación respecto la conservación de especies, ha generado un aumento en la investigación sobre estas. Dromiciops gliroides, es un enigma científico, único sobreviviente de un linaje prehistórico y bioindicador del bosque húmedo. Existen incongruencias respecto a la clasificación taxonómica, distribución y alimentación, entre otros temas. Por lo que se realizó una investigación para analizar la información existente, que se organizó, cuantificó y se clasificó en los objetivos de este trabajo, taxonomía, con un análisis bibliográfico, zonas que han sido poco estudiadas de la distribución y ubicación en la cadena alimenticia de los bosques húmedos; mediante una revisión bibliográfica histórica, por diversas plataformas de investigación científica e incluso aplicaciones de avistamientos de especies y manuales descriptivos de Dromiciops, para realizar una estadística simple ejemplificadora de la información recopilada. Se llegó al resultado sobre dos especies D. gliroides y D. bozinovici, en Chile, la falta corroborarlo genéticamente en Argentina. Se encontró una brecha de 60km aprox. sin certeza respecto a la transición de especies distribución. Se define omnívoro, alimentándose de frutos e insectos, pero, los conocimientos de su alimentación antes de la hibernación, carnívora o láctea siguen inciertas, junto a la alimentación en el bosque esclerófilo son inciertas. La conclusión general es la falta de investigaciones, sobre el monito como objetivo principal, especialmente en alimentación, además son pocos los estudios respecto a este tema en Argentina lo que ocurre en diversas temáticas. Es importante realizar estudios del monito de pancho, que fue recientemente confirmado, por lo que no se tienen datos certeros de nada más que su distribución en Chile y análisis genético

The interest and concern for the conservation of species has generated an increase in research on them. Dromiciops gliroides is a scientific enigma, the only survivor of a prehistoric lineage and bioindicator of the rainforest. There are inconsistencies regarding taxonomic classification, distribution and feeding, among other. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the existing information, organized, quantified and classified in the objectives of this work, taxonomy, with a bibliographic analysis, areas that have been little studied of the distribution and location in the food chain of rainforests; through a historical literature review, through scientific research platforms, applications of species sightings and descriptive manuals of Dromiciops, to make a simple exemplifying statistics of the information collected. The result was reached on two species D. gliroides and D. bozinovici, in Chile, the lack of genetic corroboration in Argentina. A gap of approximately 60 km was found, with no certainty regarding the transition of species distribution. It´s defined as omnivorous, feeding on fruits and insects, but the knowledge of its feeding before hibernation, carnivorous or milky is still uncertain, together with the feeding in the sclerophyllous forest are uncertain. The general conclusion is the lack of research on Dromiciops as the main objective, especially in feeding, in addition there are few studies on this subject in Argentina, which occurs in various topics. It´s important to make studies on D. bozinovici because there’s no certain data
