Territorial inequalities are a factor of conflict that, at different scales, entail a profound problem in the political, economic and social development of the different States, as well as peoples and nations. In order to respond to these inequalities, strategies have been built from different institutions, both public and private, in order to respond to these problems posed by peripheral social groups in a neoliberal capitalist society through various programs. Tourism, in this scenario, is seen as a response strategy to the redistribution of capital. An economic opportunity that can become a social one by integrating elements of a sustainable culture. Generating programs that point to the principle of heritage protection, in numerous spaces, presents a unique opportunity at the moment of observing the enormous loss that we have had as a society of these landscapes, which allow us to experience reality in a different way. Giving decent living conditions and opportunities is a key element in the different currents that understand this phenomenon as something of an international nature. Tourism is an activity that is integrated into the life of the inhabitants of Pucatrihue, a town located in the commune of San Juan de la Costa. This territory is characterized by being a town of cultural and religious relevance for the Williche-Mapuche people. The construction of this territorial development, influenced by tourism, has been a point of interest for the community that during different historical periods has suffered from discrimination, being segregated and limited in the capacity to respond to their collective needs. The latter considered the dispute over land and the transformations that living in the territory has had. The research carried out seeks to provide the geographical bases for the creation of a community tourism development plan, on a territorial scale, which allows the natural and cultural heritage to be valued, considering the cultural characteristics of the inhabitants of the territory. This structure seeks to be understood as a sustainable development strategy and seeks to consider the elements already occupied in the planning ideas developed by different actors, who are also aware of the heritage wealth of the territory. The development of this research involved describing the historical evolution of the natural and cultural landscape of the territory, to which was added a characterization of the existing landscape units, which allowed the identification of the heritage assets of the locality. After that, the current state of tourism was analyzed, which led to visualizing the relationship that exists around the economic transformations of the territory, where extractive development strongly threatens the protection of the local natural and cultural heritage. After this, the environmental impacts that various economic activities have produced in the territory were analyzed, distinguishing by type of activity and establishing guidelines for the conservation of local heritage. The results of this research end with 3 types of circuits, which consider different interests of those who visit the commune and seek to link a series of local actors, allowing the generation of a collaborative network for the economic development of the territory. In this way, the geographical bases are established for the construction of a local community tourism plan, which integrating different dimensions of the landscape build a practical proposal that, from associativity, seeks to respond to local economic needs, as well as the conservation of the Pucatrihue's natural and cultural heritage....
