¿Cómo es posible la belleza? Kant, la nueva manera de pensar en la estética

Abstract

Immanuel Kant es considerado como uno de los fundadores de la estética moderna, tema que el filósofo trata en la primera parte de su obra la “Crítica del Juicio”. La presente investigación es una introducción al estudio de la teoría kantiana de la belleza. La metodología de trabajo consistió en un procesamiento bibliográfico que incluyó su análisis e interpretación filosófica. El desarrollo del tema ubica el papel que realizan los sentimientos estéticos dentro del sistema de la filosofía crítica y pone en evidencia la función unificadora de la belleza al interior de las facultades humanas. Por último, destaca el rol de la imaginación en la belleza y su posición de privilegio para actuar de puente entre razón y sensibilidad.

Immanuel Kant is considered as one of the founders of modern esthetic, topic which the philosopher treats in the first part of its work “The Critique of Judgment”. The present investigation is an introduction to Kants` theory of beauty. Its method is a bibliography review which included its philosophic analysis and interpretation. The work locates the roll that esthetic feelings play in the system of the critique philosophy and evidences the unifying function of beauty inside the human faculties Latest, it highlights the importance of imagination in beauty an its privileged position to be the bridge between reason an sensibility.
