Abstract
dc.description.abstract
In this study the advertisement call of the frog Eleutherodactylus grandis from the population of the Ecological Reserve Pedregal de San Angel is described. This call consists in a short whistle without modulated frequency and a notorious amplitude modulation. It was found that advertisement calls have scarce or no individual variation in their dominant frequency, which suggest that E. grandis has a spectral signature a distinctive spectral frequency within the population- that could be involved in individual recognition.
