Abstract | dc.description.abstract | Potassic Chilean nitrate, a cheap natural product of northern Chile, was found to support the growth of the unicellular green alga Chlorella pyrenoidosa, a possible sheep fodder supplement in this region. Comparisons with conventional media containing urea or KNO3 were favourable. Copyright © 1972 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd | |
