Abstractdc.description.abstractTrichotillomania is characterized by recurrent pulling out of one's hair for pleasure, gratification, or relief of tension that results in noticeable hair loss. We report the case of a 31 years old woman with a 20 years clinical history of trichotillomania who responded favourably to fluoxetine, a serotonin selective reuptake inhibitor.
