El acontecimiento de la maja chilota. Chichería rural en Manao

Abstract

Entender la vida rural en Chiloé bajo una mirada arquitectónica, supone experiencias vividas en el territorio que destaquen perceptualmente y permitan vincular al visitante con el habitante. Los acontecimientos, las construcciones que estos albergan, y las resultantes objetuales de sus interacciones, conforman un patrimonio vivo, tangible e intangible, que merece ser entendido, valorado y protegido. El presente proyecto de título converge estas premisas en el acontecimiento de la maja de manzanas para la producción de chicha, y a partir de aquello proponer nuevas formas de habitar el territorio rural chilote de forma colectiva en base a la cultura local.

Architectural point of view, supposes experiences lived in the territory that stand out perceptually and allow the visitor to be linked together with the inhabitant. The events, the constructions they house, and the objectual results of their interactions, shape a living heritage, tangible as well as intangible, that deserves to be understood, valued and protected. The premises in the event of the apple pestle for the production of chicha are converged in the present title project, and therefrom new ways of inhabiting the rural Chilote territory collectively based on the local culture, are proposed.
