SIG-P de conflictos socioambientales y experiencias de gestión de bienes comunes naturales : perspectivas de mujeres habitantes de la Reserva de la Biósfera La Campana - Peñuelas

Abstract

Esta objetivo de esta investigación es describir y comprender desde la perspectiva del habitar y la vida cotidiana, los conflictos socioambientales que se generan en relación con los bienes comunes naturales en el contexto de la Reserva de la Biosfera La Campana – Peñuelas, este objetivo fue abordado por medio de tres objetivos específicos, con el fin de analizar espacialmente los conflictos socioambientales en torno a los bienes comunes naturales que los y las habitantes reconocen a través de herramientas de Sistemas de Información Geográfica Participativa, describir las estrategias que las habitantes despliegan para llevar a cabo prácticas de reapropiación y conservación de bienes comunes naturales y describir desde la perspectiva del habitar las representaciones sociales de los conflictos y experiencias de reapropiación de bienes comunes naturales a través de relatos de mujeres participantes en organizaciones socioambientales. Colocando especial énfasis a través de un enfoque género a las perspectivas de mujeres activistas que participan como líderes en organizaciones socioambientales que se movilizan por la defensa de los bienes comunes naturales que componen la Reserva de la Biosfera. Frente a lo cual, interesa indagar en la experiencia espacial frente a los conflictos socioambientales que afectan la vida cotidiana de los habitantes, y las implicancias que esto tiene en la relación entre medio ambiente e identidad. Para esto es resultó fundamental analizar la manera en que los conflictos socioambientales son vivenciados por sus habitantes en su vida cotidiana, y las formas de apropiación material y simbólica a partir de afectos, emociones, imaginarios, corporalidades, prácticas sociales y culturales, entre otros aspectos que influyen en la vida social. Respecto a la metodología, la investigación se abordó desde un enfoque metodológico mixto, a través del cual se trabajó con información de tipo cuantitativa y cualitativa. El primer objetivo se abordó a través de las herramientas de Sistemas de Información Geográfica Participativa, analizando la configuración espacial de los conflictos y prácticas de reapropiación de bienes comunes en el contexto de la Reserva de la Biosfera La Campana – Peñuelas., de acuerdo con la información entregada por los propios habitantes que participaron en la actividad planteada a través del SIG-P. Los otros dos objetivos fueron abordados a través del análisis cualitativo de las representaciones sociales de tres mujeres entrevistadas participantes del SIG-P, que habitan en lugares donde se presentan conflictos de tipo socioambiental y que participan en procesos de recuperación de bienes comunes, lo cual permitió reconocer diversos temas claves sobre la experiencia de habitar el territorio en el contexto de la disputa de bienes comunes y conflictos socioambientales. La interpretación de los resultados se realizó de acuerdo con el análisis cualitativo del contenido, que permite analizar la información recopilada y estratificarla en conceptos definidos a través de ejes temáticos y categorías de análisis vinculadas con los objetivos de investigación y el marco teórico-conceptual.

This research aims to describe and understand from the perspective of living and daily life, the socio-environmental conflicts that are generated in relation to natural common goods in the context of the La Campana - Peñuelas Biosphere Reserve, this objective was addressed by means of three specific objectives, in order to spatially analyze the socio-environmental conflicts around the natural commons that the inhabitants recognize through Participatory Geographic Information Systems tools, describe the strategies that the inhabitants deploy to carry out practices of reappropriation and conservation of natural commons and describe from the perspective of inhabiting the social representations of conflicts and experiences of reappropriation of natural commons through the stories of women participating in socio-environmental organizations. Special emphasis is placed through a gender approach to the perspectives of women activists who participate as leaders in socio-environmental organizations that are mobilized for the defense of the natural common goods that make up the Biosphere Reserve. Against which, it is interesting to investigate the spatial experience in the face of socio-environmental conflicts that affect the daily life of the inhabitants, and the implications that this has on the relationship between environment and identity. For this, it was essential to analyze the way in which socioenvironmental conflicts are experienced by its inhabitants in their daily lives, and the forms of material and symbolic appropriation based on affects, emotions, imaginaries, corporeality, social and cultural practices, among other aspects. that influence social life. Regarding the methodology, the research was approached from a mixed methodological approach, through which we worked with quantitative and qualitative information. The first objective was addressed through the tools of Participatory Geographic Information Systems, analyzing the spatial configuration of conflicts and practices of reappropriation of common goods in the context of the La Campana - Peñuelas Biosphere Reserve, according to the information provided by the inhabitants who participated in the activity proposed through the SIG-P. The other two objectives were addressed through the qualitative analysis of the social representations of three interviewed women participating in the SIG-P, who live in places where socio-environmental conflicts occur and who participate in processes of recovery of common goods, which allowed Recognize various key issues about the experience of inhabiting the territory in the context of the dispute over common goods and socio-environmental conflicts. The interpretation of the results was carried out in accordance with the qualitative analysis of the content, which allows analyzing the information collected and stratifying it into defined concepts through thematic axes and categories of analysis linked to the research objectives and the theoretical-conceptual framework
