Estéticas territorializadas de la resistencia y la precariedad del hábitat migrante : población Los Nogales, Estación Central

Abstract

En un contexto de crecientes flujos migratorios, ha sido posible observar en los territorios ciertas dinámicas físicas y sociales reconocidas como diferentes por la población nacional. Se sostiene que dichas dinámicas o alteraciones sobre algo preexistente relacionadas a procesos de apropiación y significación se caracterizan por presentar rasgos relacionados a formas de resistencia que pueden ser de carácter cultural, social, y/o económica del hábitat migrante precario, expresadas a través de manifestaciones sensibles vinculadas a la estética. Así, a partir de los niveles de análisis como la casa, la calle, el comercio fijo y el comercio ambulante se plantean las interrogantes: ¿de qué formas se expresa la resistencia en las manifestaciones estéticas del hábitat migrante? y ¿cómo la estética del hábitat migrante precario da cuenta de nuevas formas de vida? Para responder a lo anterior se propone la realización de un acercamiento cualitativo y exploratorio, basado en las herramientas de la etnografía visual y el análisis espacial arquitectónico, a la población Los Nogales, de la comuna de Estación Central, en la ciudad de Santiago. Con ello se busca identificar estéticas relacionadas a la resistencia del hábitat migrante precario en un entorno barrial; clasificar y caracterizar las estéticas identificadas en función de la modalidad de resistencia que expresan; y comprender la incidencia de dichas estéticas sobre el territorio barrial. La investigación plantea que las resistencias observadas en el hábitat migrante son multiformes y surgen en base a procesos relacionados a la desdiferenciación, la invisibilización y la subordinación, y se expresan mediante elementos estéticos de carácter objetual, material, espacial, discursivos, sonoros y quinésicos.

In a growing migratory flows context, it has been possible to observe new physical and social dynamics in the territories recognized as different by the national population. It is argued that these dynamics or alterations on something pre-existing related to processes of appropriation and significance are characterized by presenting traits related to forms of resistance that can be of a cultural, social, and/or economic nature of the precarious migrant habitat, which are expressed through of sensitive manifestations linked to aesthetics. Thus, from the levels of analysis such as the house, the street, the fixed trade and the itinerant trade, the questions are raised: in what ways is resistance expressed in the aesthetic manifestations of the migrant habitat? And how does the aesthetics of the precarious migrant habitat realize new forms of life? To answer to the research questions, it is proposed to carry out a qualitative and exploratory approach, based on visual ethnography tools and architectural spatial analysis, to the “Población Los Nogales”, located in Estación Central, Santiago. This seeks to identify aesthetics related to the resistance of the precarious migrant habitat in a neighborhood environment; classify and characterize the aesthetics identified based on the type of resistance they express; and understand the incidence of these aesthetics on the neighborhood territory. The research proposes that the resistances observed in the migrant habitat are multiform and arise based on processes related to dedifferentiation, invisibility and subordination, and are expressed through aesthetic elements: object, material, spatial, discursive, sound and kinetic character.
