Arquitectura y cuidados : Centro Integral de Cuidados en Barrios Bajos

Abstract

En la presente memoria se desarrolla desde lo conceptual de la arquitectura y los cuidados, hasta los primeros atisbo del proyecto Centro Integral de Cuidados ubicado en el sector de Barrios Bajos de Valdivia, a través de un estudio y análisis con enfoque feminista, inclusivo y perspectiva género, desde el cual se identifica una problemática arquitectónica y postura en cuanto a posibles soluciones y aportes. Para esto se comienza por analizar la situación actual en Chile y los cuidados, la situación generalizada de fragmentación socio espacial de las ciudades, el rol de la arquitectura en las transformaciones sociales y como el diseño feminista se posiciona como un nuevo paradigma a enfrentar la crisis del cuidado reflejada en el aspecto urbano y arquitectónico de las ciudades. Por otro lado, se plantean criterios cuantitativos y cualitativos de selección del lugar para determinar el emplazamiento del proyecto, el cual finalmente se posiciona en la ciudad de Valdivia, capital cultural de la Región de los Ríos, específicamente en el sector de Barrios Bajos de la ciudad, donde se cuenta con una importante carga histórica y social, la cual hace cobrar aún más sentido al proyecto y su incidencia con su entorno. De esta forma, el presente escrito busca dar cuenta de una problemática arquitectónica en cuanto a los cuidados y la fragmentación espacial en las ciudades, planteando una idea de proyecto que surge desde la idea de configurar un espacio para el apoyo, cuidado y crecimiento individual y colectivo en un espacio determinado de la ciudad de Valdivia.

This report develops from the conceptual architecture and care, to the first glimpses of the Comprehensive Care Center project located in the Barrios Bajos sector of Valdivia, through a study and analysis with a feminist, inclusive and perspective approach. gender, from which an architectural problem and position regarding possible solutions and contributions are identified.
