Levitt by presto : bolso para cámaras DSLR para fotógrafos aficionados a la fotografía urbana

Abstract

Este proyecto busca como resultado ofrecer al fotógrafo aficionado una herramienta nueva que le permita mejorar su experiencia cuando realiza fotografía urbana, una actividad que destina al placer pero que, sin embargo, debido a las problemáticas intrínsecas a la actividad, tiende a generar también emociones negativas asociadas a fallar. La fotografía urbana captura a los transeúntes en sus actividades cotidianas, por lo tanto, los escenarios a capturar tienden a ser efímeros y el fotógrafo debe estar siempre atento y listo para tomar la fotografía. Para ello muchos aficionados a la fotografía urbana tienden a llevar la cámara colgando pero por consecuencia, también la exponen a diferentes amenazas externas y advierten a sus posibles objetivos de su presencia. Aquellos que optan por una mayor seguridad, guardan el equipo en un bolso, algunos destinados a cámaras fotográficas DSLR y otros no; sin embargo, guardar la cámara en un bolso se traduce en un mayor número de pasos para tomar una fotografía y por lo tanto, muchas veces el usuario no alcanza a capturar el momento deseado. Para esta investigación se realizó una revisión bibliográfica principalmente enfocada en la fotografía urbana y las cámaras fotográficas DSLR, lo que permitió conocer la actividad, el aparato y los requisitos básicos. Posteriormente, se realizó un estudio profundo del usuario objetivo por medio de entrevistas, encuestas y la observación de la actividad y de esta manera comprender de forma absoluta cuáles son los requerimientos para finalmente desarrollar una solución que mejore la experiencia del fotógrafo urbano aficionado.

This project searches as an aftermath to offer to the aficionado photographers a new tool that allows them to improve their experience when (they) perform urban photography, an activity that they make for pleasure but due to its intrinsic difficulties it tends to create negative emotions that are associated with failure. The urban photography captures the pedestrians in their daily activities so the scenarios to be captured tend to be brief and the photographer must be always watchful and ready to take the picture. In order to do this many aficionados to urban photography tend to carry the camera hanging on the neck but, as consequence, the camera is exposed to external threats as well and it also warns the possible targets about their presence. Those who prefer a safer option, they save the camera in a bag, some of those are made for DSLR cameras and some others not. Nonetheless, to save the camera in a bag means in a higher number of steps to take the photo so many times the user is not fast enough to capture the desired moment. For this investigation it was made a bibliographic inspection mainly focused on urban photography and DSLR cameras, which allowed to know about the activity, the device and the basic requisites. Afterwards, it was made a deep study of the user through interviews, surveys and the observation of the activity. This way it was able to comprehend fully the requirements to finally develop a solution that improves the experience of the aficionado urban photographer.
