Implementación de un sistema de gestión ambiental basado en la norma chilena ISO 14001 en la empresa Weir Vulco S.A.

Abstract

El presente trabajo detalla las actividades realizadas en la empresa WEIR VULCO planta San Bernardo, en el proceso de Implementación de un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental (SGA), basado en la Norma Chilena ISO 14001 Of.96, culminado con la obtención de la certificación. [¿s actividades desarrolladas fueron en primer lugar la elaboración de la "Política Ambiental" de la empresa, posteriormente se llevo a cabo la etapa de "Planificación", en la cual se identificaron y evaluaron los Aspectos Ambientales y sus requisitos legales aplicables, de tal forma de obtener aquellos que posean una significancia ambiental, luego se desarrollo la etapa de ',Implementación y Operación', en la cual se gestionaron los aspectos ambientales significativos a través de programas Ambientales y/o Control Operacional, enfocándose principalmente al Manejo de Residuos Peligrosos y el Almacenamiento y Manipulación de sustancias Químicas . A continuación se llevó a cabo la etapa de "verificación y Acción correctiva", en la cual se definieron los monitoreos ambientales a realizar, además de la verificación de las medidas tomadas en la etapa anterior

Next, the "verification and corrective action" stage was carried out, in which the environmental monitoring to be carried out was defined, in addition to the verification of the measures taken in the previous stage
