| Abstract | dc.description.abstract | Xanfhapfyllomyces dendrowhous es una levadura carotenogenica basidiomicete estudiada principalmente por su capacidad de producir astaxantina como pigmento principal. Este compuesto es de gran interés comercial debido a su uso como suplemento alimenticio en aculcultura para la pigmentación apropiada de peces salmonidos y por sus propiedades antioxidantes en la industria farmacéutica.
