Apuestas en línea, una propuesta de regulación

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo identificar las principales preocupaciones respecto a la operación ilegal de las plataformas de apuestas en línea y los aspectos más relevantes que debe considerar una eventual regulación. Para esto se analizará el proyecto de ley que se encuentra siendo discutido por el Congreso Nacional bajo el boletín Nº 14.838-03 y la regulación que han llevado a cabo otros países destacando en la materia. Asimismo, se pretende destacar aspectos positivos que contiene la propuesta presentada por el ejecutivo y realizar una crítica sobre los puntos que deben ser mejorados o que no están incluidos y son importantes para el desarrollo de estos sitios, todo esto con el objetivo de proteger a los usuarios que utilizan las plataformas

The objective of this work is to identify the main concerns regarding the ilegal operation of online betting platforms and the most relevant aspects that eventual regulation should consider. For this, will be analyzed the law project that is being discussed by the National Congress under bulletin Nº. 14.838-03 and the regulation that other countries have carried out, highlighting the matter. Likewise, it is intended to highligth the positive aspects contained in the proposal presented by the executive and criticize the points that must be improved or that are not included and are important for the development of these sites, all with the aim of protecting the users who use the platforms
