¿Cómo recuerda Chile?: El campo de la memoria a 30 años del fin formal de la dictadura

Abstract

La importancia que ha tenido la memoria en diferentes ámbitos del quehacer académico, político, activista y social durante las últimas décadas en Chile, ha crecido cada vez más. Nuestro interés es comprender cuál es el estado actual del campo de la memoria en este país desde la perspectiva de actores/as que forman parte de él. Para ello realizamos seis entrevistas a personas que tienen agencia en el campo desde la academia, el activismo/militancia o desde las políticas estatales. Con este material conformamos un corpus que, a partir de un análisis de contenido categorial, nos permitió reconocer su configuración desde lo que ocurre con los discursos y prácticas, y con los/as sujetos/as que tienen actuancia en él. Treinta años después del fin formal de la dictadura veremos si hay tránsitos en la configuración del campo, y aunque esta investigación solo alcanza a abordarlo como proyección investigativa, sin duda la memoria tendrá nuevas urgencias una vez iniciado el Proceso Constituyente que se abrió con el levantamiento social de octubre de 2019.

Abstract The importance that memory has had in different areas of academic, political, activist and social work during the last decades in Chile has been increasing. Our interest is to understand what is the current state of the field of memory in this country, from the point of view of those who are active in it. To do this, we did six interviews to people who have agency in the field, whether from academia, activism/militancy or from state policies. With this material we made a corpus that, from a categorical content analysis, allowed us to recognize its configuration from what happens with the discourses and practices, and with the subjects that inhabit this. Thirty years after the formal end of the dictatorship, we will see if there are transits in the configuration of the filed, and although this research only manages to address it as an investigative projection, without a doubt the memory will have new urgencies once started the Constituent Process that began with the social uprising of october, 2019.
