Sostenibilidad tributaria : Hallazgos de estándares aplicados por empresas chilenas que cotizan en bolsa

Abstract

El objetivo central de este trabajo es realizar un análisis detallado de la información pública proveniente de empresas chilenas que cotizan en bolsa, centrándose en la implementación de estándares de sostenibilidad tributaria. La finalidad principal de este análisis es identificar la tendencia actual en la aplicación de estos estándares y destacar similitudes entre las empresas de la muestra. El enfoque de la investigación se orienta hacia la agrupación de empresas en función de las características comunes identificadas en sus prácticas de sostenibilidad tributaria. Este proceso de categorización busca proporcionar una comprensión más profunda de cómo las empresas abordan su compromiso en el cumplimiento de obligaciones tributarias, permitiendo así destacar convergencias y divergencias en sus estrategias. El análisis detallado de estas agrupaciones no solo arrojará luz sobre las tendencias actuales, sino que también contribuirá a la comprensión de las diversas aproximaciones que adoptan las empresas chilenas cotizadas en bolsa en relación con la sostenibilidad tributaria. Estos hallazgos ofrecerán insights valiosos para tomadores de decisiones, reguladores y otros interesados en fomentar prácticas tributarias alineadas con los principios de sostenibilidad en el contexto empresarial chileno. En resumen, este trabajo se propone proporcionar una evaluación completa y estratificada de la implementación de estándares de sostenibilidad tributaria en empresas chilenas cotizadas en bolsa, con el objetivo de ofrecer una visión integral de las tendencias actuales y las diversas estrategias adoptadas en el cumplimiento de obligaciones tributarias en el contexto empresarial chileno.

The central objective of this work is to conduct a detailed analysis of publicly available information from Chilean companies listed on the stock exchange, focusing on the implementation of tax sustainability standards. The main purpose of this analysis is to identify the current trend in the application of these standards and highlight similarities among the companies in the sample. The research approach is oriented towards clustering companies based on common characteristics identified in their tax sustainability practices. This categorization process aims to provide a deeper understanding of how companies address their commitment to fulfilling tax obligations, thereby allowing for the highlighting of convergences and divergences in their strategies. The detailed analysis of these groupings will not only shed light on current trends but also contribute to understanding the various approaches adopted by Chilean companies listed on the stock exchange regarding tax sustainability. These findings will offer valuable insights for decision-makers, regulators, and other stakeholders interested in fostering tax practices aligned with sustainability principles in the Chilean business context. In summary, this work aims to provide a comprehensive and stratified assessment of the implementation of tax sustainability standards in Chilean companies listed on the stock exchange, with the goal of offering an integrated view of current trends and the diverse strategies adopted in fulfilling tax obligations in the Chilean business context.
