La Funa en casos de Violencia de Género en Latinoamérica: Una Revisión Sistemática

Abstract

Durante los últimos años se ha evidenciado un fenómeno vinculado al frecuente uso de las redes socio digitales junto a las distintas demandas levantadas por el movimiento feminista, los cuales desataron una oleada de denuncias públicas a lo largo de Latinoamérica. El objetivo de esta revisión sistemática de la literatura sobre la funa en Latinoamérica fue sistematizar la literatura especializada y antecedentes empíricos sobre el fenómeno de la funa en Latinoamérica en los últimos cinco años. Los artículos incluidos se obtuvieron de las bases de datos Web of Science (WoS), Scopus y Google Scholar, así como también de revistas feministas. De dicha búsqueda se incluyeron 19 estudios. En general, los estudios evidenciaron el uso de la funa como herramienta ante la inseguridad y percepción de impunidad sobre hechos de violencia de género. Además, se desprende que durante los últimos 5 años en Latinoamérica ha sido concebido como una tipo de denuncia pública que se realiza a través de redes sociales como consecuencia del activismo digital feminista del último tiempo. Los hallazgos del presente estudio permiten una mejor descripción de los aspectos estudiados de la funa entendiéndose como un fenómeno multicausal y complejo, con causas y efectos a nivel personal, jurídico-social e institucional. Finalmente, esta revisión sugiere aquellos elementos relevantes que podrían ser útiles para las investigaciones de la funa en el futuro.

During the last few years, a phenomenon linked to the frequent use of socio-digital networks and the different demands raised by the feminist movement has become evident, which unleashed a wave of public denunciations throughout Latin America. The aim of this systematic review of the literature on the funa in Latin America was to systematize the specialized literature and empirical background on the funa phenomenon in Latin America in the last five years. The articles included were obtained from the Web of Science (WoS), Scopus and Google Scholar databases, as well as from feminist journals. This search included 19 studies. In general, the studies evidenced the use of the funa as a tool in the face of insecurity and the perception of impunity for acts of gender violence. In addition, it is clear that during the last 5 years in Latin America it has been conceived as a type of public denunciation carried out through social networks as a consequence of the feminist digital activism of recent times. The findings of the present study allow a better description of the studied aspects of the funa, understanding it as a multicausal and complex phenomenon, with causes and effects at the personal, legal-social and institutional levels. Finally, this review suggests relevant elements that could be useful for future research on the funa.
