Abstract
dc.description.abstract
This study examines how digital design and manufacturing technologies are redefining what is considered technically feasible to build in architecture. Six case studies are examined using the Buildability Model proposed in the literature. Results show that buildability factors remain essentially unchanged and should only be deepened or expanded in scope. The results, however,
suggest that buildability principles are very questionable, and therefore, they must be reformulated. Additionally, the impact of these results on architectural education curricula is discussed.
