Abstractdc.description.abstractThe current Chilean society has shown in diverse surveys to have a bad mental health at a general level. The following text is a bibliographic review that proposes some theoretical axes on which to analyse mental health in Chile and understand the increase of subjective discomfort in the current neoliberal context, historicizing elements from the period 1973-2019, to conclude by reflecting on the mechanisms to externalize the discomfort that could stop their increase at an individual level, inviting to continue the studies on the subject around an interdisciplinar perspective.es_ES
