UNHEIMLICH : una genealogía de lo siniestro aplicada al diseño

Abstract

Este es un trabajo de investigación teórico que tiene como objeto de estudio el concepto de lo siniestro siguiendo el torrente de las distintas corrientes surgidas de lecturas y re-lecturas del ensayo de Sigmund Freud “Das Unheimlich”, publicado en 1919. Hoy, un siglo más tarde, es que le sigo la pista a la evolución que tiene este concepto abstracto, con la intención de entregarle un lugar dentro del diseño de personajes de animación, para esto se ha elaborado un modelo de análisis y creación artística, que articula tópicos y nociones adquiridas de las diversas disciplinas desde las que se ha estudiado en concepto.

This is a theoretical investigation work whose subject of study is the concept of the uncanny, following the different currents of readings and re-readings of Sigmund Freud’s essay “Das Unheimlich”, published in 1919. Today, a century later, I follow the steps of the evolution of this abstract concept, with the intention of giving it a place in the design of animated characters, to achieve this a model for analysis and artistic creation is proposed, it articulates topics and notions that were acquired from the diverse disciplines from which the concept was studied.
