Entre el orden y la disrupción: la escritura de Clarice Lispector en “A menor mulher do mundo”

Abstract

Clarice Lispector's work has been described as postmodern, modernist, materialist, avant-garde: classifications that highlight how transgressive the language and stylistic play in her fiction has proven. Many have emphasized how her aesthetics tends to efface the limits of what can be represented, to fracture what can be said and its meaning. While this article doesn't object to the predominant critique of Lispector's work, it seeks to amplify it by focusing on the material and sensuous constitution of her writing. The analysis concentrates on "A menor mulher do mundo" to show how Lispector's writing is predicated on assembling continuities and disruptions that insist on the vacillating quality of her aesthetics. Thus, we examine four key moments in the short story in which vacillation configures her writing as a space in which meaning is no only defied, but also constituted as an assemblage of sensuous elements that express without necessarily saying.

La obra de Clarice Lispector ha sido calificada como posmoderna, modernista, metaliteraria y vanguardista, denominaciones que resaltan el carácter transgresor de los juegos lingüísticos y estilísticos que prevalecen en su ficción. Muchos han enfatizado cómo su estética tiende a desdibujar los límites de lo representable, a quebrar el decir y su sentido. Si bien este trabajo no objeta estas perspectivas críticas pretende ampliarlas enfocándose en la constitución material y sensible de su escritura. Este estudio se centra en “A menor mulher do mundo” para demostrar cómo la escritura de Lispector se estructura a partir de un ejercicio de acoplamiento en el que continuidades y disrupciones insisten sobre el carácter vacilante de su estética. Nuestro análisis examina cuatro momentos del cuento donde la dinámica de la vacilación permite a su escritura no solo configurarse como un espacio en el que el significado es desafiado sino, sobre todo, constituirse como un montaje de elementos sensibles que expresan sin necesariamente decir.
