Memoria de los escombros en tres novelas de Álvaro Bisama

Abstract

El presente texto se pregunta cómo, dentro de los narradores chilenos recientes agrupados como Literatura de los hijos, Álvaro Bisama se aproxima a la desmemoria posdictatorial, en una década caracterizada por las trabas en la elaboración de memoria, en tanto se tiende a eternizar el tiempo dictatorial y la homogeneización de la política no permite las posibilidades de pensar el futuro. Se hipotetiza que en su trabajo surgen maneras de recordar y hacer memoria del pasado chileno reciente que lidian con los retazos incompletos del locus de memoria de la infancia y la ruptura intergeneracional en la transmisión del pasado, a través de las figuras del escombro y la ruina como objetos que permiten su emergencia.

Abstract Present text asks how, within the recent Chilean narrators grouped as literatura de los hijos (literature of sons and daughters), Álvaro Bisama approaches post-dictatorial forgetfulness, in a decade characterized by obstacles in the elaboration of memory, as “dictatorial time” tends to eternalize and the homogenization of politics does not allow the possibilities of a future. It is hypothesized that in his work there are ways of remembering and making memory of the recent Chilean past that deal with the incomplete pieces of the childhood memory locus and the intergenerational rupture in the transmission of the past, through the figures of debris and ruin as objects that allow their emergence.
