La Casa de los Siete Espejos : museo memorial de la bohemia porteña

Abstract

Este documento se definirá a partir de la construcción del relato ausente de la Casa de Los Siete Espejos: prostíbulo adherido a la memoria de Valparaíso como un mito que escurriría por las voces del puerto. Esta ausencia evoca la invisibilización de la memoria de la bohemia porteña y establece una ruptura en el componente histórico de la ciudad desvaneciendo sus piezas del plano. A través del relato de historias en el material gráfico y literario asociado a los espacios sexuales de Valparaíso se conducirá el planteamiento que devenirá en el proyecto. La propuesta buscará reconocer a partir de una aproximación sensorial la memoria de la Casa de Los Siete Espejos generando una arquitectura experiencial que permita reivindicar el pasado bohemio de la ciudad puerto.

This document will be defined based on the construction of the absent narrative of the Casa de Los Siete Espejos: a brothel attached to the memory of Valparaíso as a myth that would seep through the voices of the port. This absence evokes the invisibilization of the memory of the bohemian life in the port and establishes a rupture in the historical component of the city, fading its pieces from the map. Through the narrative of stories in the graphic and literary material associated with the sexual spaces of Valparaíso, the approach that will lead to the project will be conducted. The proposal will seek to recognize, through a sensory approach, the memory of the Casa de los Siete Espejos, generating an experiential architecture that allows for the vindication of the city’s bohemian past.
