Imagina traer imágenes : vínculos entre la inteligencia artificial generativa, el diseño y la educación

Abstract

En este proyecto se investigó sobre la inteligencia artificial de forma amplia, decantando en una revisión sobre inteligencia artificial generativa, estableciendo vínculos con la educación e interponiendo el diseño como encargado de la comunicación para promover el aprendizaje. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo diseñar una instancia de aprendizaje, orientada a profesores de enseñanza básica y media en Chile. Para diseñar esta instancia, se hizo investigación general sobre la Inteligencia Artificial Generativa, se reconocieron las necesidades del usuario en cuestión y se hizo prueba de aplicaciones generativas potenciadas por inteligencia artificial para ser utilizadas como herramientas útiles en la enseñanza de los profesores. Esta instancia se vio principalmente enfocada en aplicaciones generativas de imágenes, dando importancia al uso responsable de las mismas mediante la transmisión de aspectos oportunos como también negativos, propios del estado actual en el desarrollo de la inteligencia artificial generativa. Este proyecto cuenta con el diseño de una identidad visual como también de materiales educativos del área estudiada, que fueron sometidos a prueba mediante la construcción de un taller piloto, donde se convocó a profesores para hacer una revisión teórica y práctica de las herramientas generativas, brindando nuevas posibilidades de su uso en docentes y el ambiente educativo. Esta prueba concluye que la investigación realizada tiene múltiples vías para ser llevada a cabo en cuanto a experiencias de aprendizaje y material educativo: el diseño en comunicación visual juega un rol fundamental en cuanto a la transmisión de la información brindando la posibilidad de crear múltiples vías de aprendizaje.

In this project, a broad investigation into artificial intelligence was conducted, culminating in a review of generative artificial intelligence and establishing connections with education, with design acting as a key communicator to promote learning. The objective of this research was to design a learning instance aimed at primary and secondary school teachers in Chile. To design this instance, general research on generative artificial intelligence was carried out, the needs of the target users were identified, and generative AI-powered applications were tested as useful tools for teaching. This effort primarily focused on generative image apps, emphasizing their responsible use by addressing both the opportunities and challenges inherent in the current state of generative artificial intelligence development. This project includes the design of a brand as well as educational materials in the studied field, which were tested through the development of a pilot workshop. Teachers were invited to this workshop to engage in both theoretical and practical reviews of generative tools, offering new possibilities for their use in teaching and educational settings. The results of this test concluded that the research provides multiple pathways for the implementation of learning experiences and educational materials. Visual communication design plays a key role in effectively transmitting information, enabling the creation of diverse learning opportunities.
