Salarios participativos en la minería

Abstract
La implementación de los salarios participativos en la actividad minera, en un país eminentemente minero como es el caso de Chile, puede traer una serie de beneficios económicos. En el presente trabajo se obtiene, luego de un desarrollo teórico, que un salario ligado al precio de venta del bien producido, genera un mecanismo de protección, por parte de la empresa, ante shocks inesperados. Junto con esto se lleva a cabo un análisis de los efectos de la aplicación de salarios participativos en la minería, concluyéndose que es muy favorable la implementación de estos, y al mismo tiempo se encuentra que una forma de estimular la adopción de este sistema salarial es eliminando la repartición de la gratificación legal, si se opta por este sistema. Otro de los resultados obtenidos es el impulso al desarrollo de las regiones mineras del país que provocarían los salarios participativos en la minería, reduciéndose al
mínimo la tasa de desempleo e impulsando las actividades complementarias a esta actividad. Por último se realiza un análisis de casos en el cual se ven los diferentes sistemas salariales que se utilizan en la actualidad al interior de la actividad minera, encontrándose contrastes con sistemas donde la mayor parte de la remuneración es variable y con otros donde una parte mínima de esta es variables, o definitivamente el salario es fijo.
