Abstractdc.description.abstractThis article presents the characterisation results of corrosion products formed on steel, zinc, copper and aluminium exposed in Antarctic corrosion stations near the coast line, and it analyses the influence of the particular characteristics of this climate on this formation. The results are compared with the ones obtained in sea atmospheres of tropical and mild climates.
