El deseo, el habitar y la vivienda en propiedad individual

Abstract

La presente tesis de magister comprende que el habitar se estructura a partir de órdenes sociales y espaciales, los cuales se establecen mediante la producción de diversas complejidades y donde los habitantes se relacionan entre sí y su entorno de forma permanentemente imbricada. Estos órdenes del habitar se desarrollan a través de condiciones estructurales y subjetivas, siendo estas últimas el enfoque preponderante para el desarrollo de esta tesis. Se acoge la idea de que los órdenes del habitar basados en lógicas de consumo, prosperan fundamentalmente en el actual contexto neoliberal, entendido este como la fase actual del capitalismo, y que opera mediante la producción de subjetividades en las y los habitantes. Dicha producción centraliza su accionar en la intervención de los deseos de los sujetos, es decir en la producción de los deseos de habitar. Para aproximarnos a comprender el fenómeno de los deseos de habitar, se planteó incorporar discusiones coyunturales que se están dando en los planos socio político de la problemática habitacional del país. Se abordó el cuestionamiento al fenómeno hegemónico de la vivienda en propiedad individual que rige en nuestro país, desde donde se pretendió describir cómo los integrantes de comités de vivienda producen el deseo de habitar una vivienda en propiedad individual en el marco del proceso de postulación al subsidio habitacional. Metodológicamente, se estableció una estrategia de carácter exploratoria-descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo, la cual permitió abordar desde una lógica colaborativa un trabajo con el comité de vivienda "Quiero Mi Casa", desarrollando actividades participativas y entrevistas en profundidad con tres de sus integrantes.

The present magister thesis understands that inhabiting is structured from social and spatial orders, which are established through the production of various complexities, where the inhabitants relate to each other and their environment in a permanently interwoven way. These orders of inhabiting are developed through structural and subjective conditions, the latter being the preponderant approach for the development of this thesis. This research embraces the idea that the orders of living based on consumption logics prosper fundamentally in the current neoliberal context, understood as the current phase of capitalism, and that it operates through the production of subjectivities in the inhabitants. This production centralizes its actions in the intervention of the desires of the subjects, that is, in the production of the desires to inhabit. In order to get closer to understanding the phenomenon of the desire to inhabit, it was proposed to incorporate conjunctural discussions that are taking place in the socio-political planes of the country's housing problem. The questioning of the hegemonic phenomenon of individually owned housing that prevails in our country was addressed, from where it was intended to describe how the members of housing committees produce the desire to inhabit a home in individual ownership within the framework of the housing subsidy application process. Methodologically, an exploratory-descriptive strategy with a qualitative approach was established, which allowed a work with "Quiero Mi Casa" housing committee to be approached from a collaborative logic, developing participatory activities and in-depth interviews with three of its members.
