El presente trabajo abordará y desarrollará -en el derecho chileno- los mecanismos de cooperación judicial internacional, con especial énfasis en el reconocimiento y ejecución de sentencias extranjeras y en el exhorto internacional en el proceso civil, figuras que serán analizadas en forma crítica, en el actual contexto de la discusión de la Reforma Procesal Civil, con el propósito final de plantear la relevancia de una nueva normativa, que ponga a Chile a la vanguardia en lo que concierne a la materia objeto de esta memoria de título

This thesis will address and develop -in the chilean law- the mechanisms of international judicial collaboration, with special emphasis on the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and the international letter rogatory in the civil process, figures that will be analyzed critically, in the current context of the discussion of the Civil Procedure Reform, with the final purpose of raising the relevance of a new regulation, which puts Chile at the forefront with regard to the subject matter of this thesis
