Abstract

The title compound, [Y-2(C4H5O2)(6)(H2O)(4)](2)(.)4.6H(2)O, has two independent dimeric units, displaying different bridging patterns between metal ions which lead to dissimilar (YY)-Y-... distances. The compound is isostructural with an already reported Gd complex.
