Posible vía de solución al problema epistemológico de la Filosofía de la Historia hegeliana

Abstract

En el presente artículo se intenta mostrar una posible vía de solución al problema epistemológico contenido en la Filosofía de la Historia hegeliana. Tomando como punto de partida la crítica de Burckardt, se establece de qué manera Hegel ya tiene a la vista este problema. La tesis principal consiste en que su solución pasa por una comprensión dialéctico-especulativa del concepto de historia, lo que implica una fundación de la Filosofía de la Historia en la lógica hegeliana. Finalmente, intentaremos mostrar en qué medida esta solución en Hegel puede no estar únicamente motivada por la posición sistemática de su autor.

This article is an attempt to show a possible solution to the epistemological problem of the Hegelian Philosophy of History. Taking as a starting point the Burckhardt’s critic of Hegel’s take on history, it will delineate the Hegelian conception of this problem. The main point is that his solution depends on the dialectic and speculative nature of the concept, and this implies that the Philosophy of History grounds in Hegelian logic. Finally, the focus will turn to the motivation of this solution, to conclude that it not only depends on the Hegel’s systematical position.
