Abstractdc.description.abstractEssential oil, obtained by hydrodistillation, from fresh leaves of Satureja gilliesii (Grah.) Briq. (Lamiaceae), which is an endemic species of Chile, was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The major constituents were the oxygenated monoterpenes: isopulegyl acetate (25.3%), isopulegone (13%) and isopulegol (11.2%). © 1996, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
