Abstractdc.description.abstractAngiotensin receptor II mRNA was found to be expressed in dopaminergic neuronal cell line RCSN3 of rat substantia nigra using RT-PCR reaction. Aminochrome (150 μM), a metabolite of the dopamine oxidative pathway, was found to down regulate the expression of angiotensin receptor mRNA in RCSN3 cells by 83% (p < 0.05).
