Estudio de la calidad del agua de la laguna de Aculeo durante el periodo 2000-2008

Abstract

We did also a current diagnosis of the actual trophic estate of the lagoon. For this were selected other variables monitored by DGA (total nitrogell, total phosphorus, chlorophyll «, transparency). here tlie waters turned out in ari estate of eutrofic or hyper trofic, depending on the pararneter studied. In additio¡ ,uve studied if there is a difference in the variables selected betrveen the different sectors where DGA does monitoring (House of Bombs, Drain and León's Top) in order to relate the agriculhrrai zones to some sector of the lagoon that could have increased values of some parameter, it ttn¡led out that the lagoon has such as antlrropic controlled. that it wasn't possible to relate a colmection between an specrfic activity with the jucrease of the levels of some component. On the other hurd as the DGA realized four campaigls of sampiing per year (summer, autumn, rvinter and spring) we evaluated the behaviour per season of the lel els fo¡ evel1 ¡rorito¡ed vanable. We ploposed mzury possible solutions to stop or at least rninimize deterioration of the lagoon, these are named bellow: Control and preventior of the lagoott water conta¡rülalion, Coritrol of the extraciions and diversions of the water of the lagoon, x\rl Conttol rneasures inside the lagoon, Recominendatior.rs for Residential use, Touristn and recfeatlon Management and uses of the soil. Irinatly, it is possible to say that it's of high importatce to contintle with the nronitoring of the lagoon or to realize a rvater analysis where the parameters that are recommended to meas re those llhich are in the nonr to have a point of comparisorl rvith regulations in Chile.
