Abstractdc.description.abstractTo reduce the spread of phytoplasmas in a crop or in a certain geographic area, epidemiological studies are of crucial importance in determining which insect species transmit these pathogens. In this chapter, we describe methods of capturing the insect vectors of phytoplasmas and the criteria for choosing the method(s) according to the objective to be achieved.
