The intestinal microbiota is the collection of all microorganisms residing in the gastrointestinal tract, and the most predominant bacterial phyla in dogs are Firmicutes, Fusobacteria, and Bacteroidetes. When the homeostasis condition is altered, dysbiosis occurs, which consists of an imbalance in the bacterial composition, its metabolic activities and/or its distribution in the intestine. The gastrointestinal system of dogs is populated primarily by anaerobic and aerobic bacteria. Anxiety and stress can trigger functional gastrointestinal disorders, depending on the race and personality, this manifests itself differently. From the review carried out, it can be inferred that the microbiota composition of a healthy dog is complex and varied, compared to a stressed animal. Animals show different coping styles in stressful situations, which are proactive and reactive. In addition, a third coping style has been described as the ambivalent. Therefore, it is concluded that stress and personality descend from the intestinal microbiota....

Random interactions among pedestrians, usually produced by psychological effects (e.g. anxiety), can produce collective nontrivial phenomena in their flow dynamics. Here, we improve our understanding on these phenomena by implementing cellular automaton simulations in a simplified one-dimensional corridor model. We consider different types of randomness that could be used to parametrize social, cultural or psychological behaviors; their incidence on the average evacuation time and standard deviation are studied. The randomness in the pedestrians’ motion allows the separation between different phases of movement, which in the end, drives the dynamics. Our study allows to observe emergent collective phenomena and unpredictability in specific regimes that occur in one-dimensional hallways, such as those in airplanes, cinemas, massive sports events, classrooms, etc. These findings may be relevant to the design of evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency, where anxiety may compromise people’s performance and the effectiveness of the evacuation plan. Therefore, it could be advantageous to introduce these aspects in the simulation of pedestrian dynamics. From a merely theoretical point of view, our findings highlight the importance of understanding simple systems to disentangle the complexity of more complicated ones....

Introduction: diazepam belongs to a group of medicines called benzodiazepines. These drugs are known to work in the brain through GABA and, it used to relieve anxiety and control the agitation caused by alcohol withdrawal.
Method: variation in weight, friability, hardness, disintegration time, quantification of active ingredient, speed and dissolution profile between the innovative and multi-source drugs marketed in the Peruvian market. The evaluation of these presentations did with the USP 42 Pharmacopeia.
Results: the results established that all Diazepam 10 mg multi-source tablets included in this research are bioequivalent with the chosen innovative brand and, therefore, can be interchangeable.
Conclusions: The results observed that the multi-source tablets of Diazepam 10 mg included in this research are bioequivalent with the innovator and, therefore, allow the determination of pharmaceutical equivalence as a support element in the decision-making process for purchasing in the service pharmacist....
