Abstract

Easter Island's endemic cowrie, Cypraea caputdraconis is primarily an herbivore. Algae composed >90% of the diet. Cladophora, Sphacelaria, Ceramium, Galaxura and Pterocladia were the most frequent and abundant items in the diet. -from Authors
