Seminario de grado: Pedagogía de la pregunta
Abstract
dc.description.abstract

Abstract

Questions asked in classes generally do not have a pedagogical purpose, impairing the development of cognitive thinking. It usually reflects the use of ambiguous, incomplete or confusing statements and without a clear context, affecting students' responses by lack of clarity (Manrique, 2018). This document collects and analyzes statistical data for the study of all questions found in Unit 2 of Organic Chemistry of the Text of the Second Middle Student on the axis of Chemistry, corresponding to a universal pedagogical tool. The questions were collected in the same database and categorized according to two different taxonomies, Serafini (2016) which is based on the degree of interaction with direct dialogue between teacher and student, and that of Roca, Marquez and Sanmartí (2013) which implies the demand and assessment of the question according to scientific learning. The results show a large difference between the two categorizations, where based on the classification of Serafini (2016), the need for a high cognitive level is reflected, while under the perspective of Roca, et al (2013) there are, for the most part, questions related to the description or explanation of processes that do not require higher-order reasoning. While taxonomies are considered exclusive to each other, questions are complex and can be analyzed from different perspectives.
