Las notas del traductor en una traducción de Lo demoniaco nell’Arte de E. Castelli por H. Giannini

Abstract

Este artículo analiza los tipos de notas del traductor de la traducción de la obra Il demoniaco nell’arte, de Enrico Castelli realizada por su discípulo Humberto Giannini. Se analiza cómo estas notas influyen en la interpretación y comprensión de la obra original, así como en la percepción de los aspectos históricos y contextuales abordados en la obra. A partir de la clasificación propuesta por Cardellino (2017), se explora en cómo las decisiones del traductor pueden afectar la percepción de los temas fundamentales de la obra de Castelli y cómo estas elecciones pueden estar influenciadas por el contexto cultural y lingüístico de la traducción.

This paper aims to analyze the types of translator’s notes in the translation of the work ‘Il demoniaco nell’arte’ by Enrico Castelli carried out by his disciple Humberto Giannini. It examines how these notes influence the interpretation and understanding of the original work, as well as the perception of the historical and contextual aspects addressed in the text. Using the classification proposed by Cardellino (2017), it explores how the translator’s choices can affect the perception of the fundamental themes of Castelli’s work and how these choices may be influenced by the cultural linguistic context of the translation.
